Hello,
I am trying to understand what this company “Integral powertrain” does.
https://www.integralp.com/
I take it that they don’t actually make electric motors and electric drives for cars, but, they make “add-on” systems, which involve additional electric motors and electric drives, which mean that the main car motor/drive system is more efficient and more powerful. Is that correct?

(eg they make re-generative braking systems, and more efficient alternators using special electric drives)

If you take little bit deeper of this company you will see the company says
"Most of our work is in support of specific client goals, but in the course of business and promoting our company, we enjoy substantive dialogue about the wider needs and opportunities as they see them. Where we see a business opportunity and believe we have the skills and ideas to succeed, we may start a focussed analytical R&D activity. If the results of this are encouraging to us and client contacts, we may progress to hardware".
If we think from another side then you're right.
