need help regarding interfacing ADC 0808 with XILINX spartan 3E FPGA
Hello guys,
I am trying to interface ADC 0808 or ADC 0804 with papilio one.can anyone please tell me how to do verilog or VHDL program of this?.
please help.

The one major take away from dpaul's link should be you can't directly connect the Spartan 3E device to the ADC 0808/0804 as the ADC is a 5V part and the Spartan 3E I/O only have a maximum voltage of 3.3V. For the data coming from the ADC you'll need to add either voltage translators or resistor dividers to interface to the FPGA pins. For the outputs of the FPGA you'll have to have level translators to increase the high level to match the Vih of the ADC, which based on the links is above 3.3V.
