Had to replace the connector USB 3.0 2 Lenovo Yoga notebook because the client bent internal connector pins.Replace the connector, now I need to test to see if everything is working. How can I test?

Basic detection is confirmed by opening the Device Manager. (Via the System control panel.) There should be a list of USB ports. If you see a yellow Alert icon then something is not right.

You can draw power directly from the supply terminals. 5V. 130mA. To obtain 500 mA, a device must negotiate for more power after it is plugged in.

Some computers (maybe older ones) have BIOS settings which have to do with a USB port. You might want to see if anything needs to be set or reset in that regard.

Try plugging in a USB mouse, hard drive, printer, etc.

Performance may or may not be up to USB 3.0 standards. I don't know how easy it is to confirm any difference as compared to 2.0 or 1.0.
