customise prortocol in wireshark

Hi All,

Can some one please help me out to do the customise protocol in Wireshark which is being used under TCP layer for one of my communication between FW and SW.

Basically I have to read our data into human readable strings and plug in with wire shark.

I have no idea where to start and how to write plug in and attach with wire shark.

So can some one please guide me to solve my issue from the scratch.

Please advise me how to write the plugin in C for converting bytes stream of data field into readable human strings for wireshark.

Please advise me from the scratch based on the fact that I only know C/C++ programming in academic base.
