understanding the fft output in matlab xilinx system generator

hello everyone, i'm using a 256 fft core in matlab system generator, i have a bandpass signals from 750mhz to 1250mhz, im sampling at a rate of 1000mhz, for 750mhz im getting a 750mhz(single peak at 192 index value), for a 1000mhz im getting 0mhz, for 1110 im getting 110mhz, 1250 mhz i'm getting 250mhz, can anybody explain how pls??

Re: understanding the fft output in matlab xilinx system generator

So you are sampling at 1000 MHz, but your input signal is between 750 MHz to 1250 MHz?

Well you better go read about the Nyquist-Shannon Sampling Therom.

i gt it , to sampling at 1250mhz to 1500mhz

sir, do u know how to implement a radix 2^2 algorithm of a 8 point fft, in matlab simulink, radix 4, and radix 2, are present in fft 9.0 core , but how to implement radix 2^2 algorithm of 8 point fft
