Hi guys,

I've got 10x strings of battery powered lights. Micro leds. 20 lights on each string, and each string runs off 3x AA batteries.

I would like to run these 10 strings of lights off the mains.

My thought was to use an ac to dc led driver, which turns the mains power to 12v 1amp 6w.

Is there a way I can use this to run all 10 of my strings of lights. Or is there another way to run them safely.

Thanks for the help :)

How will you convert your 12V to only 4.5V?
Two of the 4.5V strings in series need 9V which might be easier to convert from 12V. Then why not use a 9V power supply?
