MYIR offers a development board family MYD-IMX28X based on 454MHz Freescale i.MX28 ARM926EJ-S Microprocessors (MPUs) which are ideal for smart gateways, human-machine interfaces (HMIs), handheld devices, scanners, portable medical, experimental education and more other industrial applications. The boards have a commonly-used base board and are using MYC-IMX28X series CPU modules as core boards. It can support for Linux operating system and work in harsh environment supporting -40 to +85 Celsius extended temperature operation.

MYD-IMX28X Development Board​

The MYC-IMX28X CPU Module which is an SOM (System on Module) has the core components i.MX28 processor, 128MB DDR2 SDRAM, 256MB Nand Flash, 128KB SPI Flash and Ethernet PHY chip on board and can be served as the core of your embedded system. It has two 1.27mm pitch 80-pin SMT female expansion connectors to allow extension of all the controller signals and ports to the base board through headers and connectors, thus exposing more features of the i.MX28 processors.

MYC-IMX28X CPU Module​

The MYD-IMX28X base board has extended many features and peripherals with the support of the MYC-IMX28X SOM and some extended controller chips including two serial ports, two USB ports, up to two Ethernet ports, one CAN (only for i.MX287), one RS485, one Micro SD, Audio, LCD, Touch screen and more others.

The MYD-IMX28X is delivered with i.MX283 or i.MX287 by default along with power adapter, necessary cables and detailed documents in one DVD disk. MYIR also offers the 4.3 or 7 inch LCD as options. It is a low-cost solution for customers' evaluation and embedded design based on Freescale i.MX28 processors. The price offered is very low; the MYC-IMX28X module is only USD39/pc and the MYD-IMX28X is USD99/unit for MOQ1.
