What means DIE printed on a SMD component? (picture attached)

I've got a pro pcb with a component with the DIE word. Unfortunately I can't test it for resistance since it's still soldered to the board.

Could be OIE or 01E too.

But if you turn the picture up the other way it reads 310 :)

1,00 MOhms resistor.
