I'm studying GSM system.
I have two questions always confusing me and need big hand help of you
1. The relation between second order distortion and AM suppression ?
Second order distortion introduce DC noise step, and it seems that the
relation is as
AM suppression = AM interfer level - Wanted RF level - DC(noise) step
with DC step as attached figure

Usually second order distortion introduce DC noise step
2. How comes AM suppression specify testing AM blocker frequency as 6MHz
offset , what's the magic behind 6MHz?
