Laptop not detecting any external devices

HI

Can any one help me on this Please, My dell Laptop is not detecting any external devices (Internet USB, Android Mobile's ) which have Plug n Play software installation options

could any one help me on the same!!

Try these options:
1. check disk management to see whether drive is detected
2. update your driver
3. or you may need some disk recovery tool https://www.icare-recovery.com/partition-recovery.html

Alternately, you can check the USB cable/try and connect to other computers and btw, whats computer o/s?

I am using wwindows 7 operating system,
the USB Cable is working fine, As i have connected with other computers/laptops its working fine everything is working as expected!!,

I have noticed this issue frequently , do i need to suspect my laptop which i procured recently
