can i know how do i convert ferquency of rotor of a m/c into binary form so dat i can use dat data for some other purpose???

I think he wants to make a digital rpm meter for a motor-cycle.

Usama, if you want usable answers, then it helps to give more and clear information and skip the use of abriviations. Now we have to guess what you want.

there are lot type of speed sensors like you can simply connect a small dynamo and using ADC you can give it to the controller....

May be. I had considered this meaning if a motorcycle had a "rotor". Of course it has many rotating parts, e.g. wheels or a crank shaft, but not particularly a "rotor".

It can be a language thing, something that rotates is a rotor and maybe he does not know the right name. (rotor is shorter as crankshaftflywheel, and he seems to like short words. ;-)
But serious, my 54' Triumph speedtwin has a rotor in the ignition,

But we will hopefully hear what he wants to build.
