What's the difference between an analog and digital pad?

I want to layout of 64pin pad frame althouh full custom.
some pins are digital and some are analog pins.what is difference between a analog pad and digital?and do you have any layout sample of pad frames?

I too have to design for 84 pin clcc package in umc 0.18um tech cntainig both analog and digital modules. Kindly help. Its urgent. thanks in advance.
