hi please help me how to write basic genetic algoritham code for simple function minimization.
ex:f(x)=x^2.
plz not using tool box only matlab code
 

What does a Genetic algorithm actually mean?

genetic algoritham means find minimum/maximum to a function i.e minimum of function f(x)=x^2
