Error correcting codes should be applied after data compression right?
 

Right.
(Error correcting Coder after Compressor in transmission side,
Error correcting Decoder before Decompressor in receiving side).
Otherwise, channel errors could not be corrected.

Thank you so much sir.This could be done as a graduation thesis for signal processing (M.Tech) right.
 

how to apply data comprestion to after CRC error detection? reason for i use to data compression after error detection as i use the CRC error detection method.when we apply CRC to 8 bit data it became the 11 bit frame after crc encoding. that is way i use data compression after CRC. can you help me to do that using suitable data compression method? thank
