Xilinx programming cable

Hello friends,

I am trying to program xilinx xc9572 using xilinx ise suite 14.1 and parallel cable 3 for jtag. But it is not detected. Can anyone suggest me what could be the probem. I have used the schematic provided by xilinx. But I came to know that Impact doesn't support parallel cable 3 after release 10.1. So I want to know whether I can program the cpld using parallel cable 3 and Ise suite 14.1 or not. And also if I connect the cable to parallel port will the suite not even detect my cpld. Please help me out. Urgent help needed. Thanks in advance..
