image acquisition in matlab part of final year project

hi ,
i m working on final year project and in that i have to capture images using digital camera controlling through matlab,
i have gt sony dsc - p3 , can any1 help me out about how to interface it with matlab and which drivers i need to install for this......
 

Image Acquisition Toolbox supports Sony GigE Vision, FireWire, Camera Link, and analog cameras.

GigE Vision and FireWire cameras can be used directly through your computer's Ethernet and FireWire ports. Camera Link and analog cameras require the use of a frame grabber. Please see the industry standards below for details, operating system support, and a list of compatible frame grabbers.
