hye guys,Im a computer engineering student and now very confused in choosing my fyp title..software or hardware (i prefer something about processor)..pls help me out here guys..

If you like processor programming you can choose:
- arduino (university level uP)
- PIC (industrial grade uP)
I used the pic18f45k20, and with a small fee you can buy the demo board with 10 pdf lesson files.

it is easy to start, and you can make funny things!
the smallest demo board is **broken link removed**.

what is exactly arduino and PIC?

Arduino:
www.arduino.cc
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arduino
it is like a development board, wich provide easy access to uP interfaces, expecially for whom are not experienced in hardware electronics (soldering and making circuits), and want to develop software quickly. A lot of university use it in their courses!

PIC, from microchip:
one of the most used microcontroller for industrial applications!
google for it!
