problem with sending and receiving data with mlx90614

Hi,guys
Im working with mlx90614 and I just want to initiate it with smbus protocol but I have problem with sending and receiving data with this sensor .I want to write C functions but I dont khow how should I use sending and receiving data with this protocol
My compailer is codevision and I use atmega16L.
Could anyone explain for me please?I would appreciate. :smile:
 

Thanks amimo816,but as i said.I have problem to write C codes.Unfourtunately I dont know assembly codes.Know my main problem is in recieve a byte .
