Speed to Torque
I wonder something. For example; in a closed loop dc motor speed control, we obtain the torque reference by applying a PI or PID regulation to the speed profile. Then we obtain the torque producing reference current by the relation between the torque and the armature current. Anyway, what is the relationship between the torque and speed. I couldn't understand the mechanism of obtaining torque from speed by this way?
Can anyone explain please?
