What is single and dual core processor ? If a processor is named as
"Dual core processor 2Ghz Speed RAM-DDR3-1066"
what does DDR3-1066 means ? And dual core processor means 2X 2Ghz !

What is difference between one worker and two workers in some factory ? :smile:

If you whant to use all cores in system, application must be writen for that environment also.

Once both built-in cores share the same bus, maybe the comparision is not totallly true.

oh thank u :) but sir ....still i am in confusion , that DDR3 1033 ...wat is that number in front of ddr3 and single core means only one Processor having XGhz of speed and dual core means 2XGhz ?

Yes but factory dont have one bus, I think on general two workers as power, they can do more job then one.

dual core never means that 2xGHz...it means processor has two cores working on 2GHz ....

dual core means that it has two identical cores...because we can't increase the clock frequency ..due to many limitations such as semiconductor device breakdown (at high freq)...and yet we have to increase the computing power...the only way is to increase number of cores..which helps in multitasking...for example if you are playing game on your dual core computer ..at this time the processing is shared between two cores one can handle the graphics and another handles the sound..hence your game runs smoother ..as compared to singe core in which both graphics and sound is processed on the same processor...

compare them to parallel current sources they are similar to dual core processors

Exactly !

Multicore processors, facilitates multitasking management.
However, bus sharing, limits might of each one, due time allocation will be reduced, as more ones will be added.
