Is it possible or allowed for an B.E Electrical and Electronics Student to write GATE paper in EC department ?
 

yes..but that gate score will be valid for electronics not electrical.also the cut off of clearing the exam is different like for electronics it might be 27 and for electrical it mite be 25..
decide whether u want to apply for electrical or electronics.
