Using Eagle PCB layout software, is it possible to import/export PCB outlines from Solidworks? (or other mechanical packages)

There are various DXF ULPs on the Cadsoft site. Go here: and type DXF in the search box.

Hi, by the way I wanted to do something similar a while back, and I did try some DXF converters in the past, but they didn't work
well for me (maybe they have improved now). Some people were charging for their converters and I didn't want to pay.
In the end, I seeked an alternative solution, and that was to use HPGL as the intermediate format (assuming your CAD program
can export in HPGL format). Solidworks can't export in HPGL, but the trick I found was to use Inkscape as a free DXF->HPGL
converter.
The method used is here.
