hi

i wanna to measure the frequency from FM radio kit when i playing it, then display it on LCD 16x2.

someone please teach me how to do it use Microcontroller, i just only know ASM languge

thanks before

Assuming 4 digits readout is sufficient, every tenth of a second...

You must first scale down the carrier frequency, by using a series of divide-by-10 stages.

Then run the result to a frequency counter. Then to the LCD. There are all-in-one IC's to make this part easy.

It's likely you can do all the above with a microcontroller. (I have no experience with them.)

If it cannot handle 100 MHz waveforms then you'll still need to use one or more separate pre-scalers.
