All,

I am interested in hardware software core design.
I am looking fir a firmware which has potential of converting to hardware co design.
That is firmware should have a module that can be implemented in hardware to improve execution time.

Are there any free resources where i can get some firmware and carry out hardware implementation.
If so please provide me few links to such firmware resources.
