hi all

I am going to implement a FIR filter which is intended to compensate fractional phase delay which is caused by current transformer, analog front ends, ADC sampling process, frequency variation and other parameters

I want to know what procedure should I follow so that I can get the best result.

Thank you

FIR is a good choice for phase measurements. i am guessing you are aware of the frequencies in your case. if you have access to matlab the fdatool is a good way to start. type fdatool in the command window choose the filter configuration frequncies and the sampling rate. look at the response both phase and magnitude. if it looks all good use the 'filter' command to fiter your acquired signals.hope it goes all well.
