Hi
When i was fixing my radio I had to replace SMD capacitor with a ceramic disk capacitor.

The SMD capacitor was dark brown, some others were light brown, some were white.
Is there a color code for their value?
:?:

Unfortunately not. Also, be aware that leaded capacitors are likely to have much higher inductance than SMD types; that is sometimes of importance.

Ok thanks.
Capacitor was near the front end of receiver, I thot a 103 would work didnt have one, tried a 104 it worked but reception was a bit weak, so tried 102 and reception was normal.
