Equalizer to reduce the effect of ICI

Hi All,

How does a blind equalizer reduce the effect of (equalizes) ICI? I need a formula or a link that explains it well and your point of view as well.
All know is that an equalizer estimates the transmitted signal without knowledge of the channel statistics ..It uses only knowledge of the transmitted signal statistics.
