error in sim900a. Didn't get by return symbols as in command set

Place the osciloscope probe on the Rx pin of the modem and observe if the commands from the PC side are coming correctly. If yes is the voltage level OK? Is the power supply of all parts OK? Then place the probe on the Tx pin of the modem. Does it respond? In this way you can isolate the problem. Whether your commands do not reach the modem, or the responce from the modem does not reach the RS232 port. It would also be helpful if you posted a schematic.
