Dear All;
I would appreciate your help.
I have been reading one of publication entitled "A Matlab-based Object-Oriented Approach to Multipath Fading Channel Simulation" available to download from Mathwork website. This look at the theory behind Matlab Rayleigh and rice multipath fading simulator.
I am re-simulating the example found on section - IV part A. (rayleigh channel Object with Identical Doppler Spectrum on each path) of the paper. I am trying to re-plot the impulse response, frequency response and the scattering function shown on the matlab "Multipath Channel visualization" by using the data stored on the h.PathGains vector and equations 18,19 of the paper for the channel transformation.
For weeks I have been unable to get the same frequency response as of that of the visualization tool, although the impulse response looks very similar if not the same. The frequency response I have been plotting seems some what different at both ends compared to the matlab multipath channel visualization.
I wonder if in computation of the frequency response matlab use a different algorithm other than FFT, different FFt sample size and/or different channel length.
I would very much appreciate if any of you could provide me with further guidance on how I can get around this problem.
Attached is a word document file with some screen shots of the plots and a zip file where the matlab "m file", is included, of the paper example and my algorithm.
I would appreciate your help.
