Now I am Developing Asyncronous Processor
Both ALTERA and XILINX don't have enought Asyncronous Design.

1 Could you tell me What suitable tool for simulate design is ???
(Now I'm using Logicswork4)


2 What is FPGA that suitable implement ???
(Supose Xilinx VirtexE)

This is a nice topic of RESEARCH .. Sun MICROSYSTEMS is designinng their next generation od CPU and it appears to incorporate a Asyncronous architechure . It was on the firts page of SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN . I've been lookin for more ON THAT C-logic stuff!
 

My design is differance from traditioal design
of async becase no C-element in design
because whole my design is operate as
8 C-element that connected in serial ring .

Now I have finnished design (in logic level).
In next month i will test my first asyncronous
processor .
But i can't simulate all module in same time
because my design that too big for program.
(I think because bus size 2048 wire)

Please help i need program for simulate my design

Specification 4 x 8-bit ALU 36 Command.
(decentralize control unit)
Program memory 256 byte
Ram 256 byte
 

:D Design issues

well thats an interesting topic of research.. am also to design a partially asynchronous processor. i have taken a VLIW processor and tryin to in co-operate a GALS and a LAGS processor design. am, tryin to evaluate the power and performance of such a processor. could any one suggest me a perfect tool for this processor implementation.. the entire simulation is in VHDL..

could anyone whos workin in this area jes message me with their ideas..
