i am using moc 3020 and doing project on dimming of an incandescent bulb......i want to control firing angle.....using atmega 16 for this purpose...can any one help me for c code?????

Hi, First you need to detect the zero cross from the sine wave. In that case you can use one opto coupler to detect zero cross as follows. The output from the Op amp usually goes to an Interrupt pin of uC.

After an interrupt you have to fire the scr withing 9ms (1 ms wasted to detect zero cross). Continue this process for every cycle.
