Hi to all hardware enthusiast. I have a project that used a digital persona u are u 4000 finger print scanner and my problem is I dont know how to get or read the data and I dont know how can I interface it with pic16f877a or any pic models? Please give me a little suggestion about it.

the U.are.U 4000 is a USB finger print reader
you will need a PIC which supports USB host facilities, i.e. you can connect a USB device such as a flash drive, finger print reader, etc to it
I would suggest a PIC24 such as the PIC24FJ64GB002 which is used in the new Microchip Microstick II

does digital persona provide details of the USB data format, i.e. how the finger print information is formatted?
