capacitive touch screen and resistive touch screen

waht is the difference between capacitive touch screen and resistive touch screen?

Does it need a driver to light?
 

A capacitive touch screen uses change in capacitance to sense while a resistive touchscreen uses change in resistance.

Capacitive is costlier than resistive and you can use any object on resistive touch screens and capacitive touches are not sensitive to all objects. They only sense fingers and some special stylus.
