I found a problem with this version of cadence.

which pdk must I use with this version of cadence?

and about spectre cmos model:is this model diferent from hspice model?

if yes please upload cmos .25um spectre model.

thanks

Re: cadence 5.0.33

Hi

from the simulation ascpect

You have to choose from one of the following model categories

Either MOSFET LEVELS
OR HSPICE equivalent LEVELS

Then find out simulation parameters for you.

For example:

MOSFET LEVEL 13 == HSPICE LEVEL 49

MOSFET LEVEL 14 == HSPICE LEVEL 54

and so on and so force.

Also Look at:

1. h**p://www.mosis.org/Technical/Testdata/menu-testdata_mep.html
2. h**p://www.mosis.org/Technical/Testdata/tsmc-025-prm_mep.html

* -> t

tnx

Hi

The above mentioned links are for classroom tests.

These two links are more sophisticated:

1. h**p://www.mosis.org/Technical/Testdata/menu-testdata.html
2. h**p://www.mosis.org/Technical/Testdata/tsmc-025-prm.html

* -> t

tnx

Re: cadence 5.0.33

To convert the Spice format model file into spectre format,
add "simulator lang = spice" on the top part as the first uncommented line and "simulator lang = spectre" at the bottom.

You sure this is OK? Did you compare the equations and model parameters? Please let us know.
