This power supply is based on Velleman K-7200 with voltage adjustment from 0 to 30V (based on one multi-turn potentiometer) and current limiting from 0 to 10A. That values are viewed on a LCD display in which the power supply is equipped.
Additional equipment:
- Two DC outputs: 5V and 12V with maximum load of 1A
- Three types of measurement
- inductance meter from 10nH to 100mH and capacity from 0.1pF to 300nF with automatic switch of the measured element
- capacitance meter with ESR factor
- frequency meter to 50MHz
Cooling of this device is based on radiators and two small fans controlled from the display board which fulfills the roles of a thermostat, while the side fans work independently with variable depending on the head sink temperature (control system is build on a mosfet transistor and a thermistor).
The power supply is also equipped in a high temperature warning signal exceeded every 2 minutes.
