NO Impossible. GSM and CDMA are two entirely different technologies and are not compatible.

It would be like trying to put spark plugs in a diesel engine. There is simply no compatibility.

you get some freaky ideas in internet, but end up spoiling you phone......

Yes, you can exchange your old gsm phone for a new cdma phone..
