I need to receive the data from IR sensor which is used to measure displacement. The control station(receiver) should be around 80m-100m away from the sensor. What might be the most suitable wireless module to do this? Can you please give me any suggestion on circuit to do this?

You can use Zigbee blindly..
or low cost FM based rf modules
as AM module will have max range upto 50mtrs only

Can you please give me the link to the circuit diagram using rf module? And can the module support large amount of data to be saved and retrieved?

rf modules are only used for the communication. You need a memory for storing the values. The communication speed will be low compared to zigbee

So can you suggest me the best way to receive the data and also save it in memory??
