Are spatial coordinates indices of pixels?

hello,
I can try warping between consecutive images.My code has estimated an affine parameters of consecutive frame using gradient method.But I can not warp from present frame to previous frame .Spatial coordinate(pixel indices)has not integer for too pixels therefore I have rounded this indices. Is it correct? Are spatial coordinates indices of pixels?Would you anyone plz advise me on that.would you tell me my mistake, please.
