how much current can be passed thru a pt100 rtd?i need to measure temperature with an accuracy of ±1 degree centigrade

there is no hard and fast rule for the maximum value of current but the practical values for most of the applications lie between 0.1ma and 1ma. the lesser current the better to ensure minimum deviation in accuracy due to self heating of the element.
