can someone please help me installation of NS-2 software

i recently had a challenge on installing NS-2 on my system. i use windows7 and i have downloaded ubuntu software.
what next?
 

I'm not familiar with that spesific software.

If you download ubuntu software, you need Ubuntu to run it. It probably will run under Linux Mint too.

Or you can download a version (if it exists) that is windows compatible.
