Hi,

Recently I have deal with a strange effect on my prototype board.

I have an electronic device with LCD, keyboard and lot of I/Os. System is powered from battery. (System has several power modes. During stand-by mode, most of a system is powered down.)

So, I have powered-down my device and put it in a plastic bag and noticed that LCD's backlight is shining, and system is hanging. Later I noticed that system hangs up every time, I try to put it statically charged plastic bag.

As I noticed later, my keyboard which is connected to the main board with a cable (~15cm length) is sensitive to electrically charged plastic, which makes all the system to go crazy.

Can anybody advise me, how to deal with static charge.
