Halllo everyone,

I am still a newbie in PIC32.
I have got PIC32 Starter kit and its I/O expansion board.
Now I want to use it to control LCD driver ILI9325 using 16bit PMP bus and GSM MTSMC G-F4 module using UART.
Is PIC32 starter kit is good enough for my application ?
Do I also need in circuit debugger like ICD 3 to program my PIC32 ?
or any suggestion ?

Thanks, :)

Hi,

Actually the PIC32 Starter Kit has both an integrated programmer and debugger. So all you need is a USB port on your development system, Microchip's IDE and compiler. Check the included CDROM for docs and development software. Or their website **broken link removed** I have two of these kits on my bench as we speak and developed several projects with them. If you need a more advanced debugging platform, you may need to upgrade to a Real ICE.

Good Luck!
