Hi

I am using DAC7800(12 bit),i connected vref to -5v and operating voltage of DAC is 5v.I want to know what is the formula to calculate the voltage.....
whether output voltage will be in positive or in negative......
can anyone tell me

thanks..

Throw it away!
Absolute maximum voltage for this device is +7V and it's normal supply is +5V, if you connected it across 10V, especially reversing polarity on some pins it is very doubtful it has survived.

The calculation is the difference between +ref and -ref divided by the number of steps, multiplied by the digital value you sent it.

Brian.
