research study and work in US or other place

Dear all:

I have just obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering in Hong Kong and I would like to pursue my further study in Industrial Engineering or Electrionics engineering in other countries.
I would like to know if anyone know where to obtain fundings or can I get a research job as a source of fund in the university during my study? (something like studentships or research subsidies to cover tuition fee and other expense required)
Also, which university is good for research in the field of control, automation or robotics. etc.
Anyone from any country can give me any idea ?
