Re: Command and Data Mode in GSM/GPRS module

Hi All,

I am new to GSM / GPRS module practising on the AT Commands. I am using SIM300 module.

I have connected the module to my PC Hyperterminal via RS232 and send basic AT commands and receive the response from it.

In the manual it is mentioned about COMMAND and DATA Mode are the two access modes of GSM / GPRS module.

Can anybody tell me what is the difference between those two modes?

And also can tell me which mode to use when?
