Hi...
I am in a project of motor control application.
I need to control the acceleration and deceleration of the motor.I am
using PIC24F and 'output compare' peripheral. Can any one give some idea
about controlling the acceleration and deceleration of a motor using PWM.

Thanks ...

Hi

Use the timer interrupt to increase (de-accelerate) or decrease (accelerate) the value of the PWM timer output compeer register (the value who effect the width of the PWM signal(duty cycle)

You will need 2 timers or a dual module single timer for this job to be done well

All the best
