Can I run 89S52 with an input supplied by 7805 regulator...
It gives 5V output supply...and max 150mA current, and it takes input 8-18V
will it fulfill the current demands of 89S52,in order to function properly???

Re: Supply To 89S52

The 7805 regulator can give you up to 1A at 5V, but without a heatsink the "safe" current is estimated to be below 100mA (that depends on the input voltage, P[heat]=[vin-5V]* I[load] ) ..

100mA is sufficient current to supply AT89S52, no worries ..

Hi,

Yes, definately you can use this to supply your controller. The current and voltage you mentioned is sufficient to run your application.
