hello friends ,

I would like to know that while using stepper motor in professional equipments ,do we just apply pulse high and low or there is acceleration given to motor from gradually 0 to max .

Please suggest how to implement such thing in a program using pic microcontroller.

Hi,

For rotating stepper motor you have to apply pulses. for increasing the speed just reduce the delay of that pulse (through the program).

good answer and now itry to write code for control in stepper motr using pic16f877a put for 5 phase stepper motor

ut jst keep in mind that u dnt reduce the time of pulse beyond the response time of motor
for eg a motor needs to take 1msec to know a pulse came and you give it .5 msec duration pulse then your motor wont drive
