Mezmeriz is a startup out of Cornell with a novel projection display technology. The company seeks a talented and self-motivated individual to fill the position of FPGA Engineer.
Job Specific Functions include:
* Developing video processing architecture
* Designing and implementing VHDL code
* Designing and implementing firmware
Qualified candidates will demonstrate experience with:
* Embedded software development
* Familiarity with FPGA (i.e. Altera or Xilinx) development tools
* Hands on VHDL experience
* Experience with ASIC and/or FPGA Design Flow/Tools
* Image and video processing
* ModelSim software simulator and debugger
* Solid C Programming experience; C++ experience is a plus
Education & Experience:
* BS degree combined with meaningful work experience
* Strong verbal and written communications skills
* Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision, follow processes and instructions, and provide feedback constructively.
* Demonstrates team commitment through dependable execution of duties, proactive problem solving, and active collaboration.
Location in Ithaca not required, but close proximity and ability easily to travel to Ithaca is preferred.
