Hi Guys,

I am trying to get SystemC working with Visual Basic 2008 Express Edition. I am using the instructions in the attached document.

I have downloaded system-c 2.2.0 from the OSCI website.

When I follow the instructions in the manual, I click next on the Conversion Wizard screen and Visual Basic tells me that systemc project not loaded and project type (.vcproj) is not supported by this version of the application.

Is this because I have the VB 2008 Express Edition? What other version of VB(preferably free) can I use?

Thanks.

Added after 6 minutes:

Ok I guess it is because I need Visual Studio. :)

Do I have to use only Visual Studio or can SystemC run in any gcc IDE like say Dev C++?

Have a look on the attached tutorial, but its using MS VC++ express edition, I think its very similar to your IDE.

Good luck
